I'm Just a Love Machine

I've been getting a lot of woos, which is great. I think it is really amazing how much more traffic journals are getting these days...I remember back when I joined, these things weren't being used by anyone. I know that it has really helped to keep my attention, and I've met a lot of really great people through my journal. Hello to any new peeps reading this! But, this IS a match site, afterall, so I think we all know that I am most interested in meeting that special someone. I mean, it is great to meet people as friends, but friends don't get my bed warm at night. Well, once my friend LoquitaM did, but that is a WHOLE other story. And not one to tell in front of the kiddies. But I digress. The point is that we are all looking for a bit of romance. I really really need to go on a datewon't anyone ask me out?

I just want to find love, but I'm not so sure I have anything that attracts men. I mean--does anyone even think I'm pretty or anything? So here's the thing, my peeps; I'm doing a wee experiment hereso please excuse my disjointed sentence flow. It is necessary. Feel free to disregard anything that shows up in bold or italics, and that top paragraph was just filler. Pollyanna-esque filler. I really hope at least some of you thought it was weird that I sounded like that.

I get a lot of emails from people who read my journal but don't comment, and invariably, it has nothing to do with the real content of my message. They seem to pick a statement at random and out of context, and come up with an entire argument around it. Seriously, my old post on how I don't care for people writing to me all I love the UK, too, doesn't the US suck? got me more emails that said essentially I totally agree! Man, Americans are stupid, don't you think? than you would even believe. And I totally agree! Americans ARE stupid! I think moving to the UK was the best decision I ever made and you all should do the same!

My last post on woos? Seriously, I am now swimming in woos with follow-up messages of Wanna chat? I couldn't make this stuff up. And that's not even mentioning all the emails I got from that post giving me a hard time for my stance that men need to work harder overall and not send woos. Which...doesn't even make sense based on what I said. Because, men SHOULD do all the workI mean, come on. I'm the hot one! LOL!

I apologize to my regulars who have good reading comprehension for the length of this journal postI think that I need to yak a bit here to really get to what I need to find out. So shall I talk a bit about myself? You know, really show the real McBirdie? My...soft and vulnerable side? You wish, suckas. Though, I really do love kissing in the rain, and holding hands on trains, and planning romantic trips to Spain that we never get around to taking...is that so strange? I just need someone to love me for me, you know?

I think I will probably get some very interesting emails from thisdoes this count as my first official experiment? Or do we call the old Secret Post my first? I should really take notes. I miss having sex and I think that I might just take the very next guy who suggests no-strings sex up on his offer. Will anyone offer? Thank you for reading this, peeps. We'll return to normal journaling soon enough. Feel free to comment openly about the true nature of this post. The people who usually email me don't pay attention to the comments.

I'm not picky about menI just want someone who will tell me that I'm beautiful and not expect too much from me. I just want to spend all night kissing someone, is that so much to ask? :*( :*(
