Lotion is No Longer Strictly Optional II

I'm rolling this one over because I think the last one ended on an odd note, and I'm wondering if with Redeye's last comment, there isn't something to the idea of having a balance between things we want to do, and memories of what we have done.

I would agree that is not particularily healthy to have a long list of things you want but never do (seriously, Mid--just go buy the damn fedora), while your life passes you by. But is there an argument that a life spent crossing things off your list is equally unhealthy? I'm intrigued. Original post is copied below. Have fun, peeps.

--------------------------------------------
So my birthday is coming up in a couple of months (December 14th, if you wanted to get me something a little special), and I was discussing with a girlfriend of mine, whose birthday is this month, how we were drawing inexorably closer to the big 3-0. We agreed that while we were happy to be "in our 30s", that that actual milestone wasn't going to be fun until it was behind us.

There is something about leaving your 20s that seems as though it would be different from any other decade (feel free to correct me on that, old-timers)--so much is marketed to this age, that it seems like once you leave it, how you're seen in the world is going to change, too.

However, I don't really care about whether ads are directed towards me. More importantly than that, I remember to moisturize twice a day, I avoid the sun, and I prepare my "Do Before You Die" list. Help me out here, peeps...what is on YOUR list?
