Normally, I avoid asking for an opinion on the internet the way other people avoid falling into sewers or catching on fire. But I figure you lot are more likely to be honest and I need to know if I should bother with a new type of craft.

I make jewellery on occasion and I came upon a wee method for making rosettes out of magazine paper--I thought it was cute, so I sat down and made a bracelet out of the basic premise. But, since I have sat here and gotten my fingers terribly sore over this endeavour, I'm no longer able to tell if it's cute in a boho, "I care about the Earth, teehee" kind of way or if it just looks like I've cleared out my rubbish bin and thrown it onto my arm. My housemate is no help because he has a very particular taste.

I've got more rosettes standing by to make pendants, but I don't want to put the time in if they're not going to be jolly looking. So...weigh in, folks. You don't have to worry about hurting my feelings on this, as I'm not emotionally invested (though...you don't necessarily have to try to hurt my feelings) in this project.
